It all started with these three…
My kids and beautiful bride – that’s where this all began. Looking at life’s memories on grainy Blackberry photos (remember those?) was an insult to the moments captured within the pixels. As age creeps up on all of us, those vivid memories in our heads get muddled among the mirages of life, and if our only lens to the past is through a cracked 3-inch pixelated screen, then we’re doing ourselves and our children a disservice.
So, I bought a “big-boy” camera…and what ensued was a quick transition from hobby to passion. Now I look back every day to a virtual catalog of my family’s evolution. Snapshots in time captured at birthdays, holidays, vacations, but most importantly, random days on the couch or getting dirty in the yard. These photographs are as much for me as they are for my kids – because as they continue to grow, I want them to see how we’ve all grown with them – and how young and energetic I used to look.
